Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cup of cooked rice
  • 400g of ribeye - thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp of butter 
  • 1/2 cup of corn kernels
  • 1/2 brown onion, sliced
  • A pinch of salt and pepper

Sauce

  • 1 tbsp of oil
  • 6 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp of ginger, minces
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce 
  • 1 tbsp of sake
  • 1 tbsp of mirin
  • 2 tbsp of honey
  • 1 tbsp of oyster sauce

Garnish

  • Green onions
  • Chili oil

Instructions

  1. First, heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger. Stir fry until fragrant for 1 minute. Then, add soy sauce, sake, mirin, honey and oyster sauce. Cook the sauce until thickens and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add brown onion and cook until it is lightly caramelized. Move the onions to the middle and place the rice right on top of the onions.
  3. Place thinly sliced beef around the rice. Then, add the corn, butter and green onions on top of the rice. Season with black pepper, drizzle with some chili oil (optional) and the sauce.
  4. Give the rice a mix until everything is combined, enjoy!
