- Slice up your garlic and onion. Set aside.
- Cook the pasta to Al Dente in hot boiling water for 8 minutes.
- In a pan, heat the olive oil and chili oil over medium-low heat.
- Add onion and cook until softened and translucent.
- Then, add garlic and chili flakes. Cook until fragrant for 30 seconds..
- Stir through tomato paste and cook until it is caramelized for a few minutes.

8.Add in heavy cream, quickly stir to combine until the sauce thickens for about 4-5 minutes and season the sauce with salt.
- Add pasta back to the pan followed by pasta water and give it a good mix.
- Add cold butter to the pasta and this will thicken the sauce more and make it glossy before adding parmesan cheese to finish the dish.
- Plate your pasta and garnish with more parmesan cheese and chili oil. Enjoy!
