8 oz (225g) pasta (such as penne or fettuccine)
2 tbsp butter
2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sliced chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic, sliced bell pepper, and onion. Cook until vegetables are tender.
Pour heavy cream into the skillet and stir in Cajun seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
Return cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the creamy Cajun sauce.
