Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients:

  • Beef Tapa
  • 450g of beef sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 3 tbsp of light soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp of cane vinegar
  • 2 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 8 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp of black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 2 tbsp of cooking oil

Serve with:

  • Garlic Fried Rice (Sinangag)
  • Fried Egg
  • Tomato
  • Cucumber

Instructions

  1. Thinly sliced the beef against the grain.
  2. Mix together with light soy sauce, cane vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, salt and pepper. Marinate for 1 hour or overnight.
  3. Then, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot enough, cook the beef each side for 4-5 minutes or until browned and caramelized ( the beef will release lots of liquid and cook until the liquid has been absorbed or evaporated. The cooking is finished when the beef is browned and slightly dried on the outside)
  4. Serve with garlic fried rice (sinangag), fried egg, tomato and cucumber. Enjoy!
