Ingredients

Scale
  • 450g of Pork Shoulder, sliced
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar 
  • 1/4 cup of pineapple Juice
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of vinegar
  • 6 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of pepper
  • 6 drops of red food colouring
  • 2 tbsp of oil

Instructions

  1. Slice the pork shoulder to 1/4 inch pieces.
  2. In a bowl, combine brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and red food colouring.
  3. Add the pork to the mixture and marinate for 24 hours.
  4. In a pan, heat the oil over medium low heat.
  5. Add the pork to the pan and cook for 10-12 minutes ( flop the pork every minute to prevent burning) until it is caramelised on both sides.
  6. Serve with sinangag (garlic fried rice) or white rice, fried eggs and enjoy!
