Tips for Making the Best Miso Chili Noodles

Choosing the Right Miso Paste

Select a good-quality miso paste. White miso is mild and sweet, while red miso is stronger and saltier. Choose based on your flavor preference.

Perfecting the Spice Level

Adjust the amount of chili oil to suit your taste. Start with a little and add more if you like it spicier. Remember, you can always add more, but you can't take it out!

Noodle Selection

Use knife-cut noodles for a chewy texture. Udon noodles are also a great choice for their thickness and ability to hold the sauce well.

Additional Ingredients

Feel free to add veggies like bok choy, carrots, or red pepper. Tofu or sautéed mushrooms are excellent plant-based protein options.
